Raspberry Lemon Sun Tea

  • 3 c cold sun tea
  • 1/2 – 3/4 c fresh of frozen raspberries
  • 3-5 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3-4 tbsp raw agave nectar (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp match (green tea powder)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend well.

This recipe separates quite quickly. I drink it in a smoothie cup that has a lid and shaker. Shake before drinking.

To make sun tea:

  • Add four cups of cold, filtered water to a glass container with a lid.
  • Add two tea bags of your choice, I used black tea, but have also used green tea, orange pekoe, English Breakfast… whatever works for you.
  • Place the lid on the jar.
  • Put it in a sunny spot, outside for about four hours to allow to brew in the sun.
  • Remove the tea bags and keep the tea in the fridge.
