Raspberry Lemon Sun Tea
Refreshing sun tea to lounge with in the backyard, enjoying the summer weather.
Ingredients
Raspberry Lemon Sun Tea
- 3 c cold sun tea
- 1/2 – 3/4 c fresh of frozen raspberries
- 3-5 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3-4 tbsp raw agave nectar (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp match (green tea powder)
Directions
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend well.This recipe separates quite quickly. I drink it in a smoothie cup that has a lid and shaker. Shake before drinking.
To make sun tea:
- Add four cups of cold, filtered water to a glass container with a lid.
- Add two tea bags of your choice, I used black tea, but have also used green tea, orange pekoe, English Breakfast… whatever works for you.
- Place the lid on the jar.
- Put it in a sunny spot, outside for about four hours to allow to brew in the sun.
- Remove the tea bags and keep the tea in the fridge.
